EZSkirt didn’t start in a boardroom—it started on the road.

For more than 30 years, our founder’s journey was rooted in hard work and hands-on problem solving. Growing up, he worked alongside his father in a TruValue hardware store, learning the value of practical solutions, quality materials, and helping people solve everyday challenges. Those early lessons shaped how he approached every job that followed.

Eventually, the road called. From truck driving to a career in the oil and gas industry, life became mobile—and home became a fifth wheel camper.

What started as a personal challenge turned into an idea—and that idea turned into years of design, testing, and refinement. The goal was simple: create a skirting system that was effective, easy to use, portable, and adaptable to life on the road.

By rethinking how insulation could work underneath an RV or mobile home, EZSkirt was born. The inflatable design allows the skirting to conform to uneven terrain, seal gaps efficiently, and create a reliable thermal barrier—without the hassle of rigid panels or permanent installation.

After years of development, the design behind EZSkirt is now officially patented, marking a major milestone in turning a lived experience into a trusted solution.

JANUARY 2020

THE IDEA TAKES SHAPE

What started as a personal frustration turned into a serious pursuit. After years of battling frozen pipes and cold winters in his fifth wheel, the idea for a better skirting solution became impossible to ignore. In January 2020, the first step was taken to bring that idea to life by partnering with InventHelp—marking the transition from problem to possibility.

NOVEMBER 2022

INNOVATION, PROTECTED

After years of development, testing, and refinement, the EZSkirt design reached a major milestone. In November 2022, the inflatable skirting system was officially patented—solidifying the innovation behind the product and protecting a solution born from real-world experience. It was a defining moment that confirmed EZSkirt wasn’t just an idea—it was something truly new.
